About Me
I have lived in Spennymoor my entire life, and my connection to this town and its heritage runs deep. Growing up here, I witnessed the strong sense of community that defines Spennymoor. From its rich industrial history to its traditions, stories, and local people, the town’s character has shaped who I am today.
As a proud husband and father, my family is the foundation of everything I do. My role as a father brings me immense joy and a sense of purpose, while being a husband has taught me the values of partnership, respect, and shared growth.
My dedication to Spennymoor runs deep – I’ve previously had the privilege of sitting on the town council, working to support and serve our community and feel I still have much to offer. I also serve as Vice Chair of the Spennymoor Banner Group, as I’m passionate about preserving and celebrating our mining and industrial heritage.
Growing up, I was instilled with a sense of doing what is right for your family, friends, neighbours, and wider community. I have always tried to help where I can.
I’m a proud Spenny lad and will work hard for our town and make it thrive.
